What is marketing automation ?

Marketing Automation is defined as the use of web-based software services to manage and execute marketing tasks and processes automatically.

The goal is to replace repetitive processes such as sending emails, automated social media responses and certain website tasks with specialized software systems.

Types of Marketing Automation

Marketing Intelligence

Marketing intelligence is the use of tracking codes (Big Data) to monitor online customer behaviors. From all the data collected, common patterns of behavior can be analyzed and identified.

Business development

Business development focuses on taking potential customers or leads from the top of the sales funnel to the bottom of the funnel (Nurturing Leads). Although it is not always the best option for lead nurturing, business development processes can be automated by knowing the lead qualification and a lead nurturing strategy should be in place.

Workflow automation

Workflow automation refers to internal processes such as calendars, budgets, file management, etc.
